Product Overview
Composition: Flucloxacillin 500MG
Flupen 500 is the oral medication dose containing flucloxacillin 500mg as the active ingredient belonging to antibacterial group. It is used in skin infection, chest infection and ear infection too. Keep this medicine out of reach of children. Donot use this medicine after expiry. Store in original package to protect from light.Keep at room temperature (15-25°C).

How to use
Always take your medicine as advice by your doctor or pharmacist: The tablets should be swallowed whole with one glass of water(200ml). Take your tablets 30-60 minutes before meal.
Your doctor will monitor your respond to your medicine and may change your dose if required.
How It works
Flucloxacillin acts by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. It inhibits cross-linkage between the linear peptidoglycan polymer chains that make up a major component of the cell wall of Gram-positive bacteria.

Flucloxacillin is not known to be harmful when used during pregnancy. It can be used during pregnancy, though as with all medicines it's important to make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant before you start treatment.
