Composition: Promethazine 25mg
Devomine 25mg belongs to the group of promethazine mainly used to treat nausea, vomiting and motion sickness. Sometimes this medication also helps in relieving allergic conditions such as rashes, itching and runny nose. This medicine can be taken before or after the food as prescribed by the doctor. The most common side-effects like dry mouth, blur vision, headache and dizziness may be seen during medication period. If these symptoms are seen simultaneously, visit with your doctor and stop medicine.
Uses
- Promethazine is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting related to certain conditions (such as before/after surgery, motion sickness).
- It is also used to treat allergy symptoms such as rash, itching, and runny nose. It may be used to help you feel sleepy/relaxed before and after surgery or to help certain opioid pain relievers (such as meperidine) work better.
- It may also be used for a short time to treat a runny nose due to the common cold
