Product Overview

Composition: Cefixime 200mg

This medication  is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This medication is known as a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections.

 

 

Uses

  • Treatment of urinary and gynaecological infections including gonorrhoea.respiratory tract infections.

  • Nausea
  • Gas
  • Headache

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. CEFIXIME  may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How It works

It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
