Composition: Salbutamol (2mg) + Theophylline (100mg)
THEO ASTHALIN TABLET is a combination of Salbutamol and Theophylline which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-asthmatic drugs. It is used to treat and prevent asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to treat chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchus), bronchospasm (narrowing of airways), emphysema (shortness of breath) and sometimes even heart failure.
Avoid smoking and consumption of alcohol during treatment with THEO ASTHALIN TABLET, as it may change the way this medicine works. Before taking THEO ASTHALIN TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any heart, lung, kidney, or liver problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have diabetes, overactive thyroid functions, stomach ulcers, porphyria, epilepsy, or any viral infection.
Consult your doctor before taking THEO ASTHALIN TABLET if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of taking THEO ASTHALIN TABLET are nausea, vomiting, headache, tremors, diarrhea, dizziness and muscle cramps. Contact your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.

Avoid Theo-Asthalin Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.

Alcohol
