Composition: DOCUSATE SODIUM-50MG + FOLIC ACID-750MCG + IRON-54MG
Softeron capsule contains Docusate sodium, Iron and Folic Acid (vitamin B9).Folic acid is essential to numerous bodily functions ranging from nucleotide biosynthesis to the remethylation of homocysteine. It is especially important during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Both children and adults require folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia.
Iron transports oxygen throughout the body and maintains red blood cells, thus making an individual feel energetic and preventing anemia. Constipation, diarrhea , stomach , cramps, or upset stomach may occur with iron supplements. So to avoid constipation docusate sodium has been added. Docusate sodium is a stool softener that relieves occasional constipation (irregularity) and generally produces a bowel movement in 12 to 72 hours.

Iron deficiency (anaemia), Pregnancy anaemia, Anemia due to chronic blood loss.

How to use
Always take Softeron Capsule as advised by the physician Recommended usage is one capsule twice daily or as directed by the physician. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Do not take Softeron Capsule if you are allergic to any of its components
How It works
It contains folic acid, a B vitamin that helps in the production of red blood cells in the body. Ferrous fumarate elevates serum iron concentration, which is then assimilated into hemoglobin, required for the transport of oxygen or trapped in the reticuloendothelial cells for storage. Docusate sodium boosts the body's production of red blood cells.
