Composition: Metformin Hydrochloride SR 500mg + Glimepiride 1 mg
Metformin is a biguanide that decreases the body’s sugar production and absorption, and makes efficient use of existing insulin. Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea that, in order to reduce blood glucose, works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas.It is a medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control blood sugar levels and thus prevent serious complications of diabetes.
