Composition: Terbutaline (5mg)
BRICANYL 5MG TABLET contains Terbutaline which belongs to the group of medicines called Bronchodilators. BRICANYL 5MG TABLET is used to prevent and reverse bronchospasm in patients 12 years and older with asthma and reversible bronchospasm (constricted airways) associated with bronchitis and emphysema.
Before taking BRICANYL 5MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have heart or thyroid problems, fits or diabetes. BRICANYL 5MG TABLET should be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the baby. BRICANYL 5MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. The most common side effects of taking BRICANYL 5MG TABLET are pounding heartbeat, chest pain, rapid heart rate, shakiness or nervousness. Consult your doctor immediately if you feel any of the symptoms getting worse.
