Composition: Naproxen 500mg
Anasen 500 Tablet falls under the pain-relieving category. It generally helps in relieving muscle and joint pain, headache, toothache, and menstrual cramps. Moreover, this medicine is used to reduce pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and juvenile arthritis. It works by blocking the body's production of certain natural substances which is the main cause of inflammation. It is taken after food usually 2 to 3 times a day as recommended by a doctor.
Some of the common side effects such as abdominal pain, nausea, headache, rash, bruises, constipation and diarrhea may occur while taking this medication. Immediately stop medicine and consult with your doctor if any serious side-effects are seen.

- Pain and inflammation in conditions like Gout, Juvenile arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis

How to use
1 Tablet BID/ BD (two times a day) or as directed by your physician. Do not chew or crush.
How It works
Inhibits synthesis of prostaglandins in body tissues by inhibiting at least 2 cyclooxygenase (COX) isoenzymes, COX-1 and COX-2. May inhibit chemotaxis, alter lymphocyte activity, decrease proinflammatory cytokine activity, and inhibit neutrophil aggregation; these effects may contribute to anti-inflammatory activity.
