Product Overview
Composition: Ambroxol (30mg)
AMBRODIL 30MG TABLET contains Ambroxol, which belongs to a group of medicines called Respiratory system agents. It is used to loosen phlegm in case of productive cough accompanying lung and bronchial illness in affected individuals. Phlegm is a thickened mucus secreted by the glands of respiratory passages and lungs, which generally occurs due to illness/irritation in affected individuals.
AMBRODIL 30MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you are allergic to ambroxol hydrochloride. Before taking AMBRODIL 30MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have a predilection for the development of peptic ulcers, intolerance to certain sugars, lung problems (such as bronchial motor activity disorder), kidney problems (such as an impaired renal function), and/or severe liver disease.

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ambrodil Tablet is to be taken with food
How It works
AMBRODIL 30MG TABLET works by facilitating the expectoration of mucus by breaking down acid mucopolysaccharide fibers (sugar molecules responsible for mucus production) and stimulates surfactant (an anti-glue agent) that prevents adhesion of mucus to the bronchial wall thus preventing its accumulation and providing clearance in the airway due to acute and chronic respiratory diseases in affected individuals.
What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Ambrodil Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Allergy
Do not take AMBRODIL 30MG TABLET if you are allergic to ambroxol hydrochloride, and/or any other ingredients of this medicine.
Pregnancy
Ambrodil Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor
Breastfeeding
AMBRODIL 30MG TABLET is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it may get excreted in breast milk. Consult and inform your doctor before taking the medicine.
