Product Overview
Composition: Ambroxol (30mg/5ml)
AMBRODIL SYRUP contains Ambroxol, which belongs to the group of medicines called Secretolytic agents. It is used to treat acute respiratory diseases such as acute or recurrent bronchitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, and chronic respiratory diseases (such as chronic bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
AMBRODIL SYRUP is not recommended for use if you are allergic to ambroxol hydrochloride. Before taking AMBRODIL SYRUP, inform your doctor if you have chronic cough, peptic/duodenal ulcers, hereditary fructose intolerance (inability of the body to break down fructose), lung problems (such as asthma), and/or kidney & liver problems. AMBRODIL SYRUP is not recommended for use in pregnant women (especially during the first three months of pregnancy) and is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. It should be used with caution in children and adolescents (below 18 years). Consult your doctor before taking the medicine

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Ambrodil Syrup is to be taken with food.
How It works
Ambrodil Syrup is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out.
What if you forget to take?
If you miss a dose of Ambrodil Syrup, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Allergy
Do not take AMBRODIL SYRUP if you are allergic to ambroxol hydrochloride, and/or any other ingredients of this medicine.
Pregnancy
AMBRODIL SYRUP is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women, especially during the first 3 months of pregnancy). Consult and inform your doctor before taking the medicine.
Breastfeeding
AMBRODIL SYRUP is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it may get excreted in breast milk. Consult and inform your doctor before taking the medicine.
