Product Overview
Composition: Levocetirizine (5mg)
ALLERCET L TABLET contains Levocetirizine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihistamines. It is used to treat symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (such as nasal congestion, itchy nose, repeated sneezing and red, watery and/or itchy eyes) and urticaria (allergic skin condition causing reddish raised patches on the skin with severe itching) in both adults and in children (aged 6 years or above). Take ALLERCET L TABLET as directed by your physician. It is preferably taken during the evenings or at bedtime with or without meals. Before taking ALLERCET L TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have epilepsy or difficulty in passing urine.

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Allercet-L Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How It works
Allercet-L Tablet is an antihistaminic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.

Alcohol
Allercet-L Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Pregnancy
Allercet-L Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breastfeeding
Allercet-L Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or more prolonged use of Allercet-L Tablet may cause drowsiness and other effects in the baby or decrease the milk supply
